Die Pastellzeichnung zeigt eine wolkenverhangene Oberlausitzer Teichlandschaft mit kahlen Bäumen im Vordergrund. Michaela Mönch (geboren 1950) nahm an mehreren Seminaren für Malen und Zeichnen teil, u.a. an der Abendakademie an der Hochschule für Grafik und Baukunst in Leipzig sowie am Mal- und Zeichenzirkel bei Erhard Gassan und Lutz Jungrichter an der Volkshochschule Bautzen. Seit 1994 ist sie Mitglied im Oberlausitzer Kunstverein und an zahlreichen Ausstellungen beteiligt.
