Im Oktober 1846 schenkte Königin Elisabeth ihrem Mann Friedrich Wilhelm IV. zu seinem Geburtstag sechs rohrbespannte Ahornstühle im Rokokostil für seine neu eingerichtete Bibliothek in Schloss Charlottenburg in Berlin. Ein gleiches, jedoch vergoldetes Modell aus Rüster (Ulmenholz) war schon im März desselben Jahres für den repräsentativen Runden Speisesaal im Schloss geliefert worden. Im Gegensatz zu den geschwungenen Vorderbeinen sind die hinteren Beine säbelförmig ausschwingend und gehen in den äußeren Rahmen der Stuhllehne über. Eine geschnitzte Rocaille bekrönt die Lehne. Der Bibliotheksstuhl befindet sich heute im Schloss Charlottenburg, Altes Schloss, in Berlin.
