Das Metallkreuz gehörte zur Figur der Hl. Helena, die sich auf dem Anwesen Helenenberg befindet. Da die Figur stark beschädigt ist, wurde das Kreuz von Frau Adelheid Schade Ende Januar 1998 dem Heimatmuseum Sinzig übereignet.
