Beschreibung

The solid bangle is of a basic, elliptical shape and has a diameter of 16 mm. The piece has a rich hallmark on the outside: the front side is formed by two ornaments reminiscent of double circular eyes. Around each deep, square hallmark puncture, smaller square hallmarks are hammered in an approximately circular arrangement. The border of small punches is executed haphazardly. Two ornaments are arranged on top of each other. Between the pairs there are two punched grooves between which further, finer punches have been placed transversely. Next to the ornaments, bundles of ten and eleven grooves, respectively, have been struck on both sides.
On the lateral and posterior apices of the hoop are net-like hallmark ornaments, between which are further bundles of ten and eleven hallmarked scores, respectively. Between the respective areas of reticulated punching and scoring, a narrow area was left undecorated in each case.
