A bowl from Ancient Peru, probably Nazca style, Early Intermediate, ca. 200 - 600 AD.
The bowl is made from red clay and has a rounded bottom. Inwards it is painted with red and black ovals on a circular light ground and at the edge dark red.
The Museum of the City of Ulm bought the jar together with four other Peruvian vessels from art dealer Dr. Franz Xaver Weizinger.
