Weibliche Figur, Kelch und Heilige Schrift in den Händen haltend, zu ihren Füßen verschiedene Wappen, darunter die Inschrift ANNO DNI 1499.-----.Plastik mit Sockel und Wappen des Bischofs Johann von Salhausen. ..Die Heilige Barbara mit Turm, Kelch und Heiliger Schrift als Attribute galt besonders in Sachsen als Schutzheilige für alle gefahrvollen Berufe wie im Bergbau, für Architekten, Artillerie etc. ..Die Plastik befand sich vermutlich im Chor des spätgotischen Domchores oder an einem sog. Barbarahauses in Wurzen.
