Christophorus trägt auf seinen Schultern das Christuskind; er stützt sich auf einen Stock und steht barfuß auf rauem Boden. ..Christophorus war ein Märtyrer und ist einer der 14 Nothelfer, er hilft gegen Unfälle und den plötzlichen Tod und gilt als Beschützer der Reisenden, Schiffer und Lastenträger.
