Description

Schwarzweißfotografie. Diese Aufnahme aus dem Jahr 1925 zeigt den Hafenbetrieb im Bendorfer Rheinhafen. Über Holzbohlen werden die Rheinkähne mittels Schubkarren von den Hafenarbeitern beladen. Im Hintergrund steigt Rauch aus den Schornsteinen der Mülhofener Hütte der Firma Krupp. Rechts sind aufeinandergeschichtete Bimssteine abgebildet, außerdem sind Gleisanlagen zu sehen.
