Vorderseite: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA -/ LIBERTY -/ IN / GOD WE / TRUST -/ QUARTER DOLLAR" - Kopf von George Washington nach links. Im r. F. Münzstättenkürzel D.
Rückseite: "NEW JERSEY / 1787 // CROSSROADS OF THE / REVOLUTION / 1999 / E PLURIBUS UNUM" - General Washington bei der Überquerung des Flusses Delaware am 24.-25. Dezember 1776 vorne im Boot stehend, die Flagge wird von James Monroe gehalten. Ganz rechts die Signatur AM als Monogramm (Alfred Maletsky).
Rand: Riffelrand

US State Quarter New Jersey, the Garden State. Die Rückseite gibt das 1851 geschaffene Gemälde von Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze (1816-1868) wieder, welches sich im Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York befindet.
