Evening Dresses.
FIG. CCLXV.
The front hair and sides in ringlets; the remainder drawn together at
the top of the crown into a large bushy curl; large gold medallion pin in
the front. Robe of muslin; short sleeves; trimmed round the neck with
a drapery of silver-spotted muslin, fixed in the front and on the shoulders
with Wedgwood´s medallions. Pearl necklace. Gold ear-rings. White
gloves and shoes.
FIG. CCLXVI.
The hair dressed in small curls. Hat of white raised sarcenet, lined
with blue: large light blue ostrich feather on the left, confined by a
bow of white-edged blue riband; large bow of the same on the top of the
crown. Robe of clear India muslin, crossed in the front, trimmed on
the left side and round the bottom, with scolloped patches; short sleeves;
body and epaulettes of clear muslin, with open work. Silver cord and
tassels round the waist, tied on the right. Gold and diamond necklace.
Diamond ear-rings. White gloves and shoes.
