Description

Das Medaillon zeigt August den Starken im scharfen Profil. Die Pracht der Allongeperücke verweist auf das ausgehende 17. Jahrhundert. Das Medaillon wurde vermutlich von dem in England, Schweden und Braunschweig-Lüneburg tätigen Jean Cavalier geschnitzt. (TH)
