Description

Die reich verzierte Haube gehört zur Frauentracht der Mordwinen, einer zur finno-ugrischen Sprachfamilie gehörenden Ethnie, bestehend aus den Hauptgruppen Ersja und Moksha. Der rückwärtige, breite Behang aus Perlenfransen reicht bis in den Nacken. Die Kombination von Atlasperlen, "White Hearts" (hier grüne und rote Perlen mit weißem Kern) oder maisgelben Perlen ist in vielen traditionellen Kleidungsstücken typisch für die Ersja.

Türkischrot-Druck mit Goldstickerei in Sprengtechnik, Glasperlen in Fädeltechnik, mit Kaurischnecken und Münzen besetzt
